There are two companies that run tours of Lower Antelope Canyon- Ken's Tours and Dixie Ellis. Both have an online booking form. We recommend booking your tour of Lower Antelope Canyon as far in advance as you can. They are very popular and regularly sell out. We got lucky and were able to book two of the last spots the night before our tour.

It all started with a boy and his sheep in 1952.. Kenneth Young was born in Cow Springs, Arizona, on the Navajo Reservation to Charley and Sally Young. His parents were sheepherders, they lived in a traditional Navajo home made out of mud and wood, 25 miles away from Lower Antelope Canyon.

There are two tour companies that run tours into Lower Antelope Canyon: Ken's Tours and Dixie Ellis' Tours. We chose Ken's Tours. Both companies run tours every 30 minutes, with approximately 10 to 15 people per group. That is 30 people every 30 minutes and the canyon can fill up fast. Even if you reserve a 1 pm time slot, your tour group.
